There’s nothing to do at Drake.

Yeah, we’ve heard that before. And we’re here to prove it wrong. Drake After Class is dedicated to helping students find things to do and places to go at and around Drake University in Des Moines.

This site was launched as part of the class Online Entrepreneurial Journalism in fall 2009. The class:

• Michelle Anderson
  Michelle is one of the senior reporter for the Drake After Class team and also part of the video crew.  She enjoys being a senior editor for 515 magazine. In her free time she enjoys basketball.
  
• Mark Carlson
  Mark is the the leading role for the Drake After Class video crew. He enjoys reporting sporting events. In his free time he enjoys spending time with friends.

  Abi is one of the event reporters for the Drake After Class website.  She enjoys her senior year as a Public Relations student.  In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors and going on amazing vacations.

  Milana is one of the reporters for the Drake After Class website.  She enjoys reporting on music and concert events.  In her free time she enjoys listening to good music and hanging out with friends. 
• Emily Steiger
  Emily is one of the photographers and social media guru for the Drake After Class website.  She also is part of the 515 magazine team. In her free time she enjoys horse back riding and hanging out with friends.

  Mark is one of the photographers for the Drake After Class video crew. He enjoys reporting and news photography as well as running cameras for sporting events. In his free time he enjoys sailing, horse racing, and playing bridge.
